1989 928 S4 Temp Switch

I need to replace my two temp switches or sensors located in the intake manifold.
I ordered two of them and found one of them has a larger thread . The smaller thread is for the engine temp I think. This one sits where the radiator hose comes to the engine. I need the larger thread size but don't know what it called to order.
They look identical on the intake, but are different in there thread size.
Looking a the engine from the front, this is on the right.
