are you kidding me? now it won't start

ok, so my elevtrical issues are well documented in the other threads. but after I put the CE board back in yesterday after cleaning it all out, the car took a while to start. turns over fine and then finally, after about 5 or 6 tries it finally started right up. i shut her down and started it back up again.. no problems.

Today, i try to start it and no go. turns over fine. battery is strong. it will just crank and not start. i'm assuming i did somehting with the CE panel. What relays would cause this? i don't know if it's not getting fuel or spark. just don't know. any ideas? it used to start up and run fine before i took the CE board out to clean it.
getting very frustrated.

I also had the same issue but with some of my switches. I had to kinda twist some my fuses a little bit to get it to contact right. Same with the Relays.

you had the same issue trying to get the car started? which fuses or relays should be looking at that might be the culprit?

you're right on the money. it was a bad relay in the XVI slot... fuel injection. thank you. i swapped it with the horn relay and it started right up. who's Roger and where is he from. I'd like to check it out. But I also see the relay on PP for $5.25 a piece... when I can, l like to support our sponsor.

I buy from this site when it offers competitive pricing or some degree of 928 technical support. Haven't bought anything yet, but I'll keep shopping it. Looks like 911s and some BMWs are their focus.

I have bought from Pelican in the past, they are very fast in shipping but I also live in SoCal. I use 928 Intl for my Used Stuff and if their new stuff is cheaper than I buy from them too. It also kinda depends on shipping scenarios too.

eBay is another option, but kind of a roll of the dice since they don't warranty their stuff. The Internet is your friend.

lots , same no start issue (finj relay) especially when doing the right thing by cleaning so many tings quit a job only to think its going to run soo good now and no start. Fuel inj relay replace ahhh haa ,see, so not so frustrating, scary though if you think about how much wire/stuff there and if you screwed something up and could be anywhere. Ready to hang yourself with the wires, intimidating? NOT !!!!!!!

with the job cleaned up, now when any issue happens youll be that much further in with checking the wiring from and to a switch cause you know your boards good.
