I only had a couple of cars come in with interior worthy of selling as a whole- this is one.

I do have plenty of earlier interior bits on the shelves.... if you like; send me an e-mail if you need something....

what is the transmission in these cars or at least this one in particular? what about the motors? and are they swappable into an older CIS car?

Purely a practical thing, as I understand it strength of the trannies is highest in the GTS, then GT, S4, S3, then everything else. For the first few years about half the 928's got a 5 spd, then Porsche dropped it to something like 15%, plus the number of 928's sold per year dropped way off, so there are very few manual GTS and GT transmissions. Those that show up often go in race or track cars that "use them up". The GT also has very track friendly gear ratios.

my research (and I've done LOTS!) shows 5spd's to make up about 35% of all 928s made from 85-95, this is pretty consistent from year to year, including GTSs
5spd production in the early yrs (78-80) is closer to 50%
