Gas
Do most of you guys use the 93 Octane in your 928's? That's what I have been using in mine, occasionally the 92 if that is all I can get.

91 here too. I also heard that running a high octane gas doesn't help us as our engines aren't high compression. Someone will chime in and verify this.

Compression ratios varies by year and model from a low of 8.5: to 10.4: 1. As for the recommended octane:
From the WSM: 79-84 US 91 RON 85-86 32 V 96 RON 87-88 95 RON- Australia 91 RON 89+ 98 RON The pump octane in the US is an average of RON(research octane number) and MON(motor octane method). Add 4 or 5 points to the pump octane number to get RON. The early cars only needed 91 RON so regular should be okay. The later cars need premium unleaded.

Lowest that doesn't ping is best. No harm I know of from higher octane, except it does have less energy so mpg might be lower.
