I might be your first customer. Make 'em big and beefy and black <--that sounded kinda weird. I am in the market for a center one.

Porsche Crest

white is 82, red one looks to be 79-82, both look identical except red has bbs wheels and no sunroof, i will have to figure a way into the red one as it has no keys, i will check vins and be in better position from there. i will post parts and pieces from there, and i will try to send cleaned pieces(because i know the few time i have bought privately i paid extra shipping for the oil and dirt)

I am also looking for a good power steering hose, it is the pressure one I am looking for, mine has a lot of pinhole leaks in it, I tried the magic wrap on it and it didn't work at all, would not recommend it to no one.

I think you might be able to slit the hose from the connections, apply new hose with hose clamps, and reuse the hardware.
Don't score the fittings with the knife during the process.

A good power steering hose is not going to originate from woeful shells like that one.

Trucker for your hose issue you can remove the line and take it to a hose shop they will remove the old crimps and hose and fit new lines with crimps should cost about 45.00

hey Landseer,

I thought about going that route with the hose clamps but decided against it as I thought the hose clamps wouldn't be enough to hold the hose on the fittings because it is the pressure side. Do you know anyone that has tried this before and if so was it successful. if it does work I will do it for sure.

Trucker, don't be so cheap and get the power steering hose fixed properly. Hose clamps are great if you are broken down on the side of the road for a temp solution.

The white one may not be a '82. It seems to have the 'S' steering wheel. May be a '83 or up.

The hose clamp idea is excellent, Landseer.

for other applications, I have used hose clamps for fuel injection, which is certainly higher pressure than power steering

No reason not to use a hose clamp permanently. The worm screw type can apply more pressure than the hose can take.
