Pelican Parts- There is no substitute.
Short story-
Replaced spark plugs 2 weeks ago. Ack! #6 Spark plug boot was broken. Previous Owner used JBweld and Tape to disguise this. Crap I though. Its saturday, frantic calls and craig list searches later, I was disgusted. Also broke the stupid plastic nipple on the vacuum check valve for the brake booster. Pelican Parts .... Take me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... I orderd my parts online from pelican. a few hours later, I needed to order a few 60mm Intake sleeves (my S3 had 2 bad ones, that I neglected to replace.) Ahh.. rigging the wire lasted all of a day, then the car ran on 7 cylinders. Attempts to 'rig a regular wire' failed. My shark sat, staring at me sarcastically.. My Sleeves arrived on 3 days later. THe brake booster and the spark plug boot were supposedly coming from somewhere far (4 days extra eta). Then, saturday afternoon as Im sitting there having a staring contest with Dunkle (the car), my part arrives. Not only has pelican always gotten the order right the first time, but they are great with tracking updates, and always send me cool stickers that I give to my niece. Her little trike now has 2-3 pelican stickers. Oh, Gia says send more jellybeans! Pelican Parts Rock! thanks guys .. (Rebuilding her one part order at a time..) |
