How do you replace headlight bushing?

I have a broken bushing on my 79 euro and I have bought new one's but I do not see how to change it with out removing the fender. Is it possible or does the fender have to come off?

What bushing? not clear what you mean...

You can get pretty good access into the fender once you remove the headlight from the yoke and lower it back down - simple to do...

Otherwise its a bit of a chore to remove the wheel, wheel liner & splash shield - but also not really so bad... could be much worse...

Sorry for the lack of information. It is the bushing that the rod the headlight is mounted to rotates through the inner fender. I did not see how to remove the headlight from the shaft. It looks like it separates from the rest of the rotating mechanism. It didnt look like there was enough room to slide it out into the fender to get the bushing out. The shop manual I have doesnt show how to remove the headlight assembly. I am going to attempt it tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
