power antenna route
I got up this morning and went to get coffee and I noticed my antenna was laying against my car, someone came by and broke it, so now I have to order a new one, how is the antenna routed thru the car, I am just wondering before hand what is involved in changing it, any tips or tricks to doing this. Thanks.

Just did mine. Theres a Hirschemann Brand that is Universal. It will have all the adapters needed. Just remove the cover behind the drivers rear tire, then you have access to everything. Just unscrew the antenna cable and attach to the new antenna. Then snip the coupler plug off the old antenna and reuse for the new antenna. i believe all the wire colors were the same so it was easy. Plug in and make sure to use the thin metal strip of metal included as this is what holds the antenna base from moving around.

It's like this one but I got the mast in black. Same part number with a b at the end i think
