Where the heck is the ATF reservoir?
Where's the ATF reservoir on my 1987 928S4...I'm only a 2 day old 928 owner....I looked in the manual but i still can't find it underneath the rear of the car.

It's on the right hand side of the transmission..only check it with the engine running, trans in Park and at normal operating temperature (or hot as it sometimes known as).
It's real difficult to see unless the car is on a hoist.

I would suggest four jack stands - making sure to keep the car level...

Hello
If you look from the rear at your car and go down onto groundlevel you will see the canister on the right rear beside the axlehousing and if you can see the level abouve the steel brace holding the plastic canister you have enough to maximum. Refill is a bit harder and needs a shop lift. Grüsse |
