Too Close -

Well - Took Miss Purdy for a run to downtown Dallas that started out to be a nice trip. After a few of the typical morning "Big City Accordion" traffic cycles we were all moving along nicely. But just as I topped a rise all I saw was a progressive explosion of brake lights coming right at me. Luckily everyone near by was able to stop safely but up ahead a Dodge double cab pickup rear ended a Range Rover that will never be the same again.

YIKES - If I’d have been in the wrong lane that Range Rover could have been Miss Purdy. That maniac pickup had been changing back and forth across all 4 lanes ever since he came up the on-ramp. For all his time saving maneuvering, the traffic was cross threaded with Police, Fire Trucks and Ambulances for almost an hour - and he won a tow from a wrecker.

Almost a parts car -

Michael

Drive it enough and eventually it will get hit.
Don't drive it enough and why own it?

This message brought to you by the beater 928 owners of America.

I was doing 80mph in my red '85 944 once when three deer crossed my path at full speed. I locked up the brakes and cut through them just after the second deer and the last one. I thought the last deer would take out my quarter panel, but it just bumped my rear bumper. It did no damage at all. Not even a scrape, but the incident nearly sent my 944 to meet Jesus and I had to change my jockey shorts when I got home.
