4 Speed Auto Shifter Assembly Removal?

I was wondering if all the parts concerning the 4 Speed Auto Shifter (from the handle to what is bolted to the Center Console area) be removed from on top, besides the link at the Tranny. Just trying to pre-plan just in case I see a 928 parts car in one the "take your tools and pull" Junkyards. At some point I will need this whole assembly when I swap out the 3 speed for the 4 speed in my Euro.
