I had a motor that would stop, and I would 'fonzie' it up (hit the door). Sprayed some Deoxit in the brushes and it works great. Also check for corrosion on the connector to the motor (may want to do that first) . Corrosion increases resistance in the circuit, and causes voltage drops.

You do realize that there will be some that will have no idea what "fonzie" means, don't you? Here's a Pic to understand for you young whippersnappers ;)

So would you go as far as to say that he needs to winkler it up a little bit and then see if it works? If that doesn't work he could try to henry it? As long as he doesn't roger it we'll be okay. Roger: english slang for buggering ;)

I have a motor if that ends up being the problem. My window broke and I needed the little plastic disc off the control arm. Mine decayed and fell apart causing the window to fall into the door. I bought a whole assembly, and did not use the motor. The plastic clip is riveted in and the purchase was useless . I had my brother make a replica out of metal, and tack welded it on to my arm, and it works fine.. long story for no reason, but I have a motor collecting dust.
