Rear wiper rubber seal

Hi Guys

I have a question regarding the rear wiper rubber seal.
After a paint job, it looks that the 2 rubber seals are not exactly in place.
I didnt notice how they were before but now they stick out a bit and look a bit not in place.
I wonder if they should be as it is in the picture below or should they be fitted in a different manner?

thanks!

Those look wrong, possibly upside down. The hump of the seal should be the only thing protruding.

But the hump is protruding, isnt it?
This seal inserted from above - after the taking apart of the rear wiper arms or it should be inserted from below?

Maybe you have a picture how it should look like?

thanks!

Also, do this carefully as they are slippery guys and once you lose control of them, the hatch will swallow them up.

Thanks! What I dont understand is that the shape of those seals are like the letter T so if I insert them from below, where should be the head of the "T" (the wide top part)?

I hope my sketch is clear:

Should it be like in the sketch or the other way around?

Sketch is correct. You'll see when you remove the assembly.

The ridge goes in the bend in the hatch. The hatch is bent where it has to fit so the seal is formed to match. The ones in the pic look pretty trashed.. I'd get new ones.

Wish I had a closer pic for you but you can kind of get the idea from these pics. As suggested, I installed new ones, they are different sizes FYI.
