Just a side note for anyone adjusting their control pressure (WUR) or system pressure (regulator on the distributor). After changing either pressure, the A/F mixture will need to be reset.
For rebuilding the FD, a PDF document can be downloaded from the following site. http://www.porsche928forums.com/download/manuals/CISRebuild.pdf . |
That's the one that makes it look easy....lol...is it a trick?

No trick. If I can do it anyone can. Just take it slow, clean all surfaces, make sure the o rings are the correct size and recheck everything. The most common problem in DIY rebuilds comes from fuel leakage between the two halves since the 928 came with a steel gasket. Just make sure all the surfaces are flat and clean, then sparingly use a sealant if desired but make sure you don't block any of the small decoupler orifices.
