86' for sale..
guy had in on craigslist for months, he just put it on ebay. does not seem to bad, I actually was thinking about getting my feet wet and putting in some work do do a new paint job, new color, etc. worth the effort ? or pass on it.

not sure what it will end for, I thought I would be safe around 15 tops. I know I can ditch those wheels do a VW guy in no time. last pair i had went for 350 in a week. I actually found an old 912 i wanted , but i find a new car i want everyday . Just thought I would get some opinions

Looks like a decent Project car. Water pump and Brakes are easy to do. Interior looks fair to me. Good year to get into the 32v's. Go save it!

That car is going to take some serious dedication , elbow grease and a healthy checking account to turn into a reliable good looking daily driver..
 I would not spend more that 1k for it. |

To me, that's great except your going sight unseen. The good thing is that "everything" he explains in his ad must be true. If he says it is running fine but just needs a water pump, then that better be true when you change out that pump and that motor works well enough to drive around. You might want to address his brakes issue as well.
For me, it's a good project that I wouldn't mind tackling. As long as I already have a daily driver. Is there anyone near this car that can actually physically look at it and verify things?

whoops, meant to post a link. I am over that 86 i think. Like most ppl said, I would have to dump to much money into it. I hate the color, so It would call for an entire color swap, plus everything else that comes with it...
*** PORSCHE 928 EURO*** that is the next find I had. ^^ and if not that, maybe a 914 just to scoot around in for summer, Idk i have to many crazy ideas i think : /
