Nothing to do with a 928 but still.....

Ok, turns out the Baur 3251 needed to much work (IE money) to set right again (head gasket is shot, suspension all around needs work, brake disks are worn, drivers seat leather is ripped, etc. etc...)

So i decided to trade her in and got this instead (impulsive buy) as my daily driver, picking her up on Friday.

Hope it will do for the next 4 years or so and at least now i can get around with some comfort (yeah i know, i'm getting old).

What do you think? (bit late to ask opinions i know)

It's a 320 executive, or so I'm told....

BTW: the 928 is going for it's MOT next week, wish me luck!

What year is that Beemer? It has a cassette player. Looks clean though.

Thanks MPDano, goes well too, it's a 1998. i'll change the cassette to cd eventually, but i'm not in a hurry. The BMW Business cd players are around 150 euro's 2nd hand in the netherlands.

I pulled my wifes Business player from her X5 and put in a Carputer I put together. Expensive though. I think I spent almost $1300. You should look for a Business player on the US eBay and have it shipped. Has to be cheaper than 150 Euros.

Yes you would think so but last couple of times i had stuff shipped from states for the 928 it wound up in customs for a week who then charged me 30 euro's for the priveledge of them opening the shipment to make sure i wasn't importing something illegal. Suprise, i wasn't.....easy money...;-)

Just checked e-bay, around 90 to 100 bucks so in the end i'll save about 20-30 euro's, not a lot but still. Thanks for the tip, i might do that.

Why not get on the BMW forum here. They can probably have more information on the car.

Thanks guy's, I'm member of quite a few European/Dutch BMW forums so I've got it covered. This is going to be my fourth Beemer (never this type tho) and hopefully not my last.

Sorry to misuse this forum, I'm afraid my enthusiasm (did i spell that correctly?) got the better of me
