front fuel line replacement

just replaced the 2 front fuel lines and did a pretty good job with my small garage cave. the hardest part was the two nuts under the car. i recommend to have the car on a lift but i did it on my back in my driveway with some jack stands. the hoses were never replaced and didn't look in bad shape. i would tell everyone to do them just for piece of mind. i took some pics of my fuel line replacement and hope anyone replacing there fuel lines that these pictures will help.

I did mine on my back also...I could not break loose the fittings where the hard lines come up the firewall, so I dremel-ed the crimps off in place...that was a long day!

The pictures shows the replacement hose labeled for transmission oil cooler, do you know what it's rating is? It should be 30R9 fuel injection hose used here, so you at least want to confirm it meets those specs.

Oh wow, good eye Raymond. Not sure why there is still question on the hose rating and sizes as they are posted in the "Common Fixes" thread. Can oil hose handle fuel? Sheesh, replace asap.

I just spoke to Roger at 928srus and he said that's not the right hose and not to use it.I will double check my garage were I had the hoses stored to see if i grabbed the wrong hose. Good eyes, I would have not liked doing that job twice

That was a good catch!

Roger's kit also has all the small injector hoses and injector seals.
