Odometer died again
I changed my odo gear last year and it recently died. I took out the speedo and the gear was intact. I made sure everything moved as it should and put it back in. It worked again for about 100 miles. Are there any fixes I could try or is it time to swap it out?
If anybody has a cheapo that works laying around let me know Thanks Dan |

Sounds like contacts to me. Did you clean the contacts (leafs) well?

I cleaned the 3 connectors on the pod but not contacts on the speedo itself. I'll give it a shot... Thx

Anywhere it contacts on the PCB (printed circuit board) needs to be cleaned. Might as well clean all the contacts to the other gauges as well.
