Likely the breather or a related hose, the thing with the yellow knob.

I have noticed that the poorly set up crankcase ventilation system on the 16V motors tends to coat the internals of the intake with oil which then seeps out around the 8 rubber boots on the spider legs of the intake as well as the throttle body boot and other rubber vacuum hoses. I ended up removing/capping of the vacuum hose that runs to the oil separator (filler cap) and it currently vents to the atmosphere.

If you remove your lower air filter box and peek into the bottom "U" in the intake, is there a small pool of oil present?

There are better, wiser solutions than venting the crankcase, which is what those breather lines do (safely route it back to the engine intake for combustion.)

I agree, I would like to get a Sharkvent or similar system but until then I don't want my intake getting coated in oil again. The stock setup doesn't do a very good job separating the blow-by gasses from oil vapors

I found a little oil, enough to wipe off with a finger on the inside bottom of the AFM where it snugs into the O-ring.

Any concern I should have?

What is a sharkvent?
