Central locking system in a 1980 928

The central locking system does not work in my car. I believe I located the two fuses but I am not sure. There is one clear cylindrical fuse inside a little container and then the matching wire is just sottered together without a fuse( most likely done by the previous owner. I was wondering if I found the problem or not.

You found the "fuses" - but probably not the problem. Restore those & see what happens.
