Euro 5 speed in North San Diego $1500

No affiliation and too far to check out, but it seems to look like a Euro 5 speed. Not the high HP model per the year. Not a bad project starter though.

1979 PORSCHE 928 5 SPEED, v8 *******runs , needs work*

1988 Porsche 928 S4
this was the reply :
**********************************

Due to the numerous responses, I will be showing the car on Monday from 5-7 pmonly.

It is located on Clarendon Ave. (Twin Peaks) in San Francisco.
The car has not been started in some time, but has no known mechanical problems.

If you wish to see the car please respond with a time (between 5-7 pm) and your contact number.

I will call to set up a showing.

Thanks

Since I don't like a race / auction type sale I declined

Leo, Thanks, but I'm on the East Coast - remember
With 3 in the garage right now i would have trouble fitting a 4th, but I did just look at a 944 with LS1 conversion that was abandoned 2 years ago needing final engine work and finishing at around $2k.

Must resist....

Leo, I know you knew that, just had to prod you
Daughters euro is with me, and i'll be driving it tomorrow to a local Porsche coffee morning. She gets back from deployment in 3 weeks, then will be moving down here to be near her fiancee and buy a house, so i'll see a lot more of it, and her....

Is the 79 Euro the same one that was on CL last year?

88 S4, close to the top of my list for worst ad ever. On the back of a flatbed, too dark to see what the color is, worthless picts of the damage, and no idea what he wants for it. Frosting is the notion anybody serious is going to fit his show time of 5-7 pm in downtown SF on a Monday night, or that he is willing to accept the resulting best offer.

That said it could be a very pretty and perhaps mechanically nice car, but I have to wonder what hits hard enough in the rear to tweak the hatch like that?
