Another air pump cis question

Have done multiple searches on this subject and the answer to me is a bit inconclusive, so hopefully someone can make this clearer for me..

Car is a 83 4.7 CIS with no cats, air pump seized so i removed the belt and rigged the engine fan off the crank... so can i continue to drive it as is or do i need to block the breather than feeds into the bottom of the airbox or is there anything else that needs to be capped?

Passing emmissions is not a pre-requisite..

Thanks

Should be ok to block it if your Diverter Valve Diaphragm is good, this is a huge vac leak if not. Or just block the hose heading into the diverter valve on the firewall side.
