while I don't think i'd use them on fuel lines I was wondering how they'd look and work on the short spider hoses instead of the 16 hose clamps that are on there now - you could cut them so they are about 3/4 inches wide - would look much cleaner - anybody try this?

I have seen these on radiator and heater hoses but not on fuel lines. I would be concerned about safety more than looks. I guess one could check and see if these plastic clamps can be used on high pressure fuel lines. I would certainly want to make sure before using them.

hey harborman - I was talking about the intake connections on the spider not the fuel lines - the intake ones only need to hold a small amount of vacuum so those gates clamps might work on them

These shrink clamps are not cheap and ONE time use, not my first choice given how often I have taken off the spider.
