Once you were within about 5 feet I suspect that desire would rapidly fade. The used car lot selling it has most of the important details wrong, and all those picts and nothing close enough to judge the paint or of the full interior or engine, chances of this being a "keeper" tiny tiny tiny.

Does look pretty from a distance, but not as much as my parts car did. I do kind of like the wheels, more idea than execution, the caps unpainted don't look right.

This just arrived on the lot car was on ebay by the same seller last Nov. 1978 Porsche 928 | eBay Two bidders, one of the with (1) feedback took it to $3850 reserve not met.

Lots more picts in the ebay listing, including nice looking interior. Some Google suggests same place trying to sell it since May 2013.

VIN 9288101253 for reference.

Nice find Mr Mike. I interior does look very good. Wheels look a whole lot different in the ebay ad as well.

After reading the description, I'm trying to figure out if it's serious or if they're trying to pull off a disco era used car lot thing to match the year of the car just for laughs.

I'd be afraid to show up there...a guy wearing plaid pants, a plaid sport coat and smoking a brown More cigarette might come running out.
Although, he might throw in a couple of 8-Tracks to sweeten the deal!

Its a mid year production 78 with no real difference to the US model in HP or anything else except marker lights, its not 300 hp, or really anything apparently special. It is a Euro so odometer is not correct even assuming the unlikely case it always worked.

Does look nice in pictures inside, but unless the paint is original and passes a close up inspection, its way over priced.
