Look like the center console and pod light rheostat wires. Attach to the round rheostat dial under pod just to left of steering wheel.

The other two I think are the high pressure wash for the front headlights

T,
It doesn't make sense that Porsche would make both wires the same color from the factory. Methinks that the wires were replaced in a previous life. Try to find what color those wires connect to in the harness. That would make it snap to find what they are supposed to connect to.

Not to say that any of the previous answers are incorrect, but knowledge is power.

I have the pod out of mine. The only two wire groups I have right there are light rheostat and the button for the high intensity windshield washer pump. I will look when i get home and let you know which is which. K

On my wire diagrams it shows the BK/Bl and BK wires for the intensive washer. Your picture shows those wires. The light rheostat is just a variable resister wheel so it has the same color wire coming out as going in. Mine is white. BTW gauge/console lights will not work at all without the rheostat in place.

That is really strange that Porsche would do that

BTW gauge/console lights will not work at all without the rheostat in place.
But all you have to do is jumper the two wires together and it would be full bright all the time

Yes Tony. I will definitely be at Third Coast with Rhonda

Tony, Ignore the man behind the curtain... My 83 is set up different. Bk & Bl wires on left side of pod are going to light rheostat. I do have white ( maybe faded yellow) going to intensive washer button ,but they are on the right side of pod, next to the wiper delay rheostat.

I forget the colors on mine but I remember the the Wire hook up connections and they look like your white wire connections . All you have to do is just hook up the wires together and plug in the 3 wiring hook ups to the Cluster and see if the Dash Light Bulb's work . You want all the way Bright so just leave the wires hooked up all the time . If they don't come on check the Bulbs ( Its the Large Bulb's in the Instrument cluster ) All the way Bright is not very Bright on a 928 you may want to switch to Led Bulbs.
Or You can hook up the 3 Cluster Connections then the Wires together and you should see the Lights come on ( Ignition Key ON )
Note : be very careful with the wiring hook up to the cluster or breakage well result , hook wiring on gently and don't let the cluster hang and pull on the wiring as this well damage the hook up and things well stop working > talking Gauges / Spedo
