Side Marker Light seal help

I have a question for the 928 crowd. I'm a 944 guy so I'm in need of a little help.

The 944 has 4 side marker lights on most of the models, and I see that the 928 has them as well.

It would appear that some 928s have 4 side marker lights, and some have 2 smaller ones, and some have none at all.

I design and produce parts for the 944 and have recently produced the seals for the marker lights, since they are discontinued from Porsche, as are some of the 928 marker light seals.

Now I'm trying to figure out if the seals I have produced for the 944 will also fit the 928?

So I'm looking to see if anyone here has a 928 that has these side marker lights on there car, and can remove a light, and the seal, and can tell me the diameter and the length of the seal. That would help me out a ton and I would be happy to send you a free set if they are the same.

It appears the 928 has 2 different seals, the 78-86 are the same (and discontinued), and the 87-95 are the same and still available from Porsche.

It would be awesome if I could get the measurement from an early car (78-86) and also the measurements from the later car (87-95)

the seal is like a big foam O ring slightly shorter than the OD of the lens circumference.
super glue can be used to stick them together,
the thickness of the seal is about 3MM

That's the same as the seal for the 944, the seal that I made. It's a foam rubber O-ring that's about 3.5mm in diameter.

Do you know what the circumference of the lights are? They looks like they might be smaller than the 944 lights.

my son has a ford fusion - when you change the oil there is a large o-ring on the filter that needs to be replaced - that o-ring seems to work for those side markers - not perfect but a pretty good fit - - not a porsche-like fix, i know, but that's what i use
