Help Identifying (and sorting) parts on 86.5 928 (Ongoing)

I've just begun the sorting process on my 86.5 928S and can use some ongoing direction.

First up is the attached pics. I was cleaning up the 2 rear grounds and found these parts and can't figure out what they are - I went through the manuals but found nothing.

They are under the black cover in the spare area next to the Ground. some of the wires appear as they may be frayed but before I take it apart I would like to know what it is.

Are you referring to the 2 black round plug connectors? If so I believe Those are the connectors for the rear wheel speed ABS connectors.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I thought maybe had to do with ABS but the manual is not clear and says the sensors are mounted under the body near each rear wheel.

So, these connectors could be why my ABS light is on.

As an FYI for others, I changed the ABS relay to see if that got rid of the warning light. Nope. Then I cleaned all the above ABS connectors in the trunk, including the grounds, and that did the trick.

Its great when things are fixed by simple cleaning and deferred maintenance.
