Deferred maintenance

Car on Jack stands for a few winter jobs. Oil change, replace clock, replace lock actuator rod on passenger side, alternator belt, research and fix front oil and coolant drips, and possibly replace half-shaft transmission oil seals. And if I do that, install the Stage 8 locking bolts I bought through Ideola in 2010! And reattach a/c compressor line cap that fell off. Heated garage and beer fridge on standby! PS, the big reds up front drag a bit, something to be concerned about?

Well, I got the lock fixed. Took forever to reattach the arm rest. Sick person that designed that! Have one machine screw left over. Remember taking it off, but no clue where it goes. I said I would remember! Nope.

Dave, are you in WI or MN? I thought you moved back to WI....

That screw looks like the one to hold the door handle to the door, near the door mechanism.

That is not the stock tweeter for your car. You should be able to get one of those through Crutchfield or any other stereo place. The OEM (Nokia) ones are NLA.

Front oil and coolant leaks sound like a FOES job, likely including the oil pan and oil cooler. Might want to do the conn rod bearings if you go that far...

Hey Keith, we moved to St.Paul, MN fall of 2021. Did the FOES in 2019, new front oil seal and pump gear thing. The oil leak is on the passenger side. Oil pressure is 4.5 bar at speed. 2.5-3 at idle. Thanks for the speaker tip. Might be just a loose wire on driver tweet.

Probably the oil cooler, or the oil pan.

Had to do both of those on mine to fix everything.
