Ignition switch replacement
I just got done replacing the ignition switch, the switch part not the key/tumblers.
It can be done from below if you are dedicated and limber, you basically have to lie upside down on the car seat and can only use one hand (left one), but then you do not have to remove the steering wheel, dash cover and instrument cluster. One point of caution ! make sure the key is inserted in the the ignition. This will push the "+" shaped engagement pin out to engage the new switch as it is installed. I did it without doing so and had to redo the whole thing again barf. Sox ![]()

I seem to remember having to use an offset screwdriver and many, many cuss words to get it out.
It didn't help that they use slotted head screws instead of Phillips either.
