converting ABS to non ABS for '87 951

Would this involve a lot of labor?

I was hoping to use bigger brakes and wheels

Thanks

Nope, not a real problem.

Easy way out: pull out the fuse in the fusebox, it's one of the large ones

This will result in a complete shutdown of the ABS and an abs light on your dash. To get the ABS light out, you can easily disconnect a wire near the ecu. This will result in a non-abs car without the annoying red light on the dash.

But be aware: even the old abs on the 944's will increase your safety in emergency situations. If you plan on using the car on the track, this will be no problem, but for street use abs is highly recommended.
