2.5 n\a cam tower...
i dont know the turbo motor at all, would a cam tower from an early 944 fit an 88 turbo motor? im guessing it will but i just want to make sure!

It would fit.......... the only difference is the camshaft.....I am pretty sure the exhaust on the NA has slightly more lift.

The cam is the same....All turbos use the same cam as the early n/a's. The late n/a's came with a different cam that has 8 degrees (IIRC) more exhaust duration. Many consider the late cam an upgrade to the turbos.

IIRC, it's 7 degrees
Or at least that's what the guys over on Rennlist said.I put a late N/A cam in my 951, did quite a bit to help spool-up time. Other than that, no different, definately worth-while if you just have one sitting around. Probably not worth buying one just to do it though.
