I picked up a rear hatch that was in much better condition than mine and it had a rear wiper installed on it. I would like to make the wiper operable with the factory controls.
I have the piece of harness that goes from the real cargo light area to the wiper motor and the factory rocker switch. I believe the rocker switch plugs into socket labeled 2 in the console. The problem is that I do not have any power to the switch socket. I have studied the schematics, but could not figure it out. Is there more hardware required, or is there a bridge jumper that needs to be installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

I have studied the wiring diagram and there is a connection labeled, T1a that could be the problem. It is located near the fuse block, but I can not find it. Does anyone know where it is located?

Solved
I pulled the fuse block out and reseated the cable coming from the backup light and rear wiper fuse. Circuit is working fine.
