MBC Install Problems...
Well I went out and bought a manual boost controller and boost gauge just to have something else to mess around with but the instructions are very limited as far as installation. I know there are some people on here who have MBC's and I was wondering where the lines are that I need to run into the MBC. I know I need one of the lines that goes to the wastegate and one that is boost source but I'm not 100% sure which ones are which. Also if there is any chance that somebody has a picture or can label on the picture below the lines it would help out a lot. I've never been great on the whole fuel lines/vacuum lines on any vehicle.

Does this help?
![]() ![]() You are bypassing the cycling valve in the second picture. Installation will vary depending on your wastegate.

Should be a pretty straight forward install. Just run a line from the banjo bolt to the controller then another line down to the nozzel on the wastegate. Then you need to cap off the line from the cycling valve to the j-boot. Depending on which controller you have you can mount it on the ring on the back of the cam tower next to the firewall.
If you plan on turning the boost up above stock levels you'll need a new DME chip mapped for increased fuel for the additional air you'll be adding to keep from running lean. The ones from John Vitesse are the best IMO. You'll also need a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator. Good luck! edit - the stock WG is single port so no need to cap off the j-boot line until you upgrade to a dual port. Sorry about that.

be careful of running too lean with mbc set too high! a/f should be mandatory with boost mods.

I plan on only turning the boost up to about 12 psi right now. I'm going to get a 3 bar FPR and a Wildfire Head Gasket set put on the car. As well as putting a better bypass valve and a dual port wastegate.

you should still verify the a/f and not play the guessing game.
