oil leak on turbo or above?

I have a bunch of oil all over my turbo. Has anyone experienced leaks from that connection where the braided hose crosses over and connects to the top of the turbo?

Also, I suspect that this picture is part of a larger problem. I have a LOT of oil in my intake manifold, my IC/IC hard pipes, the J boot, and most of the hoses that make up the venturi. It looks like some of the oil may have dropped from the bottom of the throttle body onto the turbo. What is causing all this oil EVERYWHERE in my intake and vacuum system (I thought only air was suppose to be in there) and what can I do to fix it?

Picture of top view of turbo:

Thanks for any help

i am not too shure about out side but on the inside, your turbo is suppling all the oil. mine does it too. more so when i am in boost. but i think i am bout to upgrade the turbo then clean out the intake manifold and the I/C

A little bit of oil in the hard pipe from the turbo to the intercooler is normal, but you shouldn't have oil all the way through the throttle into the intake manifold. I'd say the seals in your turbo are bad and it's blowing a bunch of oil into your intake. You can probably find a place to rebuild your turbo for a couple hundred bucks, or this would be a good opportunity to upgrade.

Sounds like either an AOS problem, or a turbo problem.
If it still builds boost properly, and doesn't consume excessive amounts of oil, then don't worry too much.
Check your turbo for shaft play.

The oil ontop of your turbo is from the intake track. When it is under pressure, the vacuum line on the bottom of the throttle body leaks, along with the seals for the throttle butterfly. This allows a small amount of oil out, and down onto where you are finding it.

Sounds like you were right about the oil leaking from the throttle body. There never was a vacuum line attached to the little outlet under the throttle body, but I'll be sure to connect everything when I'm putting it all back together.

As for the AOS, have you ever replaced the seals on the turbo? This thing is impossible to get to! I took out the top two bolts, but the third one is wedged inside the hole by the heatshield next to the turbo downpipe. Also, I've managed to slowly back out the third bolt, but even if it's out, I'm wondering if I'll have enough clearance to actually pull the AOS towards the turbo downpipe so that I can pull it out. Any experiences?
