I was curious if anybody had taken a non LSD transaxle and converted it to a LSD transaxle.
I like working on my own stuff unless I don't have the tools (ie machining). I'd like to put an LSD in my tranny... just haven't found anybody who has done this job. I've got the oil cooler with my non LSD tranny... and we all know how that goes :P Advice? Yes yes, i know i could buy a used LSD... but it'd be nice to start with a fresh lsd unit... come to think about it, my 2nd gear is a little sluggish... :-/

yep.
i've heard of at least one person swapping to a quaife lsd, but have heard that generally you can't beat the stock lsd.
