KLR to Manifold Line
Does anyone know the ID/OD and material of the line that runs from the KLR to the Intake Manifold banjo? I ask because I've tried to replace it a few times, napa, autozone, etc don't carry whatever this is exactly. It is hard to tell because mine is so old and brittle.

you can replace that with a silicone line. lindsey sells a kit.

I actually have silicone line, from lindsey as a matter of fact. The problem is there is a pressure fitting at the actual KLR that a silicone tube will not fit - the walls are way too thick.

use a thin zip tie to cinch that end.

While on the subject, I have a question. Does the presence of oil in that line indicate a problem? Or is it simply another symptom of worn turbocharger seals?

oil in that line is bad as it could mess up the boost reading the KLR sees. it means you're getting oil in the intake, which could be worn turbocharger seals, or oil blow-by from the crank vent.

Could it still be blow-by if compression is >145psi in all cylinders?

yes. you can tell by checking the crank vent line where it recirculates to the intake for oil.
