Thanks to everyone who help me get the car home!
I had a chance to meet up with a local PCA member and he was kind enough to help me put the 944 on his lift and help me do some preliminary inspections. I'm attaching the pictures I was able to take and here are initial observations: Link to pics: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2cGvNDtmfJULTNMSHg2T3lCLWs -Suspension looks original, some bushings definitely need to be replaced along with shocks / struts Also the rear end of the car sits low I think that should be raised with new suspension? -Wasn't able to figure out the speedo issue -Looks like a power steering fluid leak but not dripping under car -Belts look to be in good shape, water pump is new as is timing belt -Rear brakes are getting low Any other thoughts those with lots more knowledge can provide would be greatly appreciated!! |

You are in the Turbo and Turbo S specific forum here, so not the best place to be posting about your S2.
One thing I would suggest is to check your cam tensioner pads inside your head. If the pads wear too much and are not replaced, you will break the tensioner and crack your head.
