Smile upgraded finally 951 now what?

O.K here goes i just sold my late 85 n.a and swore i would not buy another 944 for the various reasons ,belts water pump clutch, and all the other do dads but it goes to show that ever since i first laid eyes on a 944 it was love at first sight .... anyhow this is an addiction like no other. i just bought a 86 turbo and don't even know where to begin i've read many post on turbo's and still feel like it's chinese no dis respect the car has 110,000 on the clock guards red pretty much bone stock the way i like them same owner for 22 years but he can't find all the records. he was involved in a miner fender bender ,front header panel and headlight cover changed the fender .... he hasn't driven the car for some time maybe a year or so i asked all the question i should have belts, water pump, and valves were done at 90,000 because he lost the belt while driving clutch was also done now the car will be towed to my house since i've run out of money should i change the oil ,and what kind fill up gas tank with fresh gas and flush the coolant for starters i don't want to damage the car it starts fine no smoke just sounds like a maybe the power steering belt needs to be tighten a bit .... i will have some more in a day or so. what do you think ?when i receive the car i will post some pics along with what i paid .... thanks.

There is SOOOO much info out there before making a thread like this. No disrespect. Use search. Plenty of good articles/info here and elsewhere. Yes change the oil. Don't put in a low viscosity fully synth one either no matter what some people might tell you. 20w/50.
When you start a thread like this which has been done and answered a million times PLUS you say you've run out of money, well people aren't that interested. Again, not being rude, just realistic. Look around, you will have hours of reading on your hands. Good luck.
Here's a starting point: Porsche 951 (944 turbo) reference list

Congrats on the upgrade, isn't true it is hard to get out off the addiction. THis year I bought my 86 951 and I also bought a 87 944S (delete Sunroof). I would first cheack the timing belt on the car and replace., and check the water pump for sign off leak while the timing belt is out. Since I already drove an 86 944 N/a for about ten years and maintain the car my self from replacing timing belt/ water pump/ alternator /power steering/ AC/ radiator/oil cooler/ head gasket/clutch the list goes on. And also maintain my Son 83 944 N/A which I rebuild the engine on it.
And know I am learning myself oh the 951.
Good Luck

Here is some pictures off mine

Taken before totaled. Install the wheels and tire from my 87 930. On the rear tire it sort off fill the wheel well.

A picture off the structure off the left fender tip (undamage).

This is what happen to the car! Rear ended by a tow truck when I was at the traffic light. The driver side door was damage by the JAW off Live (compliment of the Fire Dept).

Just a hunch, but I think that front end accident was worse then he told you...It doesnt take much to make a tiny car like this crumple... I know
