Time for new turbo seals, anything special I need to know?

With 138K on the clock, my turbo is in bad need of new seals. I have the kit, which also includes new bearings. It's now (and has been for around 6 or 7 months) time to get myself motivated, and "git er done", before the turbo gets itself un-done. My plan is to leave the hot housing in place, mark how things are clocked, and remove just the cold housing and center section to do the rebuild. This technique has worked for other vehicles that I have done (with t3's), but I've never messed with a KKK before. Is there anything that I need-to-know, or be-careful-of, or watch-out-for, etc?

Air oil separator (oil fill tube).

You wont be able to change them unless you take the downpipe off.

Not happy about having to take the downpipe off. Any1 know what size o-rings to get for the AOS?

Oh, and would this be the time to put the WG shims in, or does that need to be done from underneeth, anyways?
