What # is late cam?
I have posed this question over on the n/a forum, but got no response. I finally tore into the old cam tower that I have yesterday, and manged to get the stuck lifters out by using a plastic dowel to hammer down onto the one lobe where the lifter was able to be removed, thereby rotating the shaft, and successively pushing other lifters out far enough where I could then get a grip on them with large channel-lock pliers, with a piece of leather wrapped around the lifter. The camshaft is now out (looks to be in great shape), and the # on it is 15509. I know that the lower of the 2 #'s is the late cam, but I don't know if this is the lower one or not. Anyone know if this is the late one?

As my memory is coming back on this issue a little bit more, I'm seeming to think that it is the last digit that needs to be the lower of the 2. That's a problem, because the last digit on the one I have is a 9. I think late might be a 5, but I'm hoping that my memory does NOT serve me correctly on this, or else It looks like I'm going to have to rip into the 924S, and rob that cam. Is anyone able to clarify this for me?
