951 S values.
Just curious what nice examples of Turbo s cars are trading hands for these days. I have been watching the normal market places, and there are really not that many being bought and sold.

My opinion is high teens for a truly needs nothing sub 80k versions i.e. new timing belt, water pump, clutch, front engine seals, brake lines, motor mounts, tires, cold a/c, etc., with concours condition ones (1 percent cars) in the low 20s. Your run of the mill turbo s cars that most people think are "nice" cars will probably fetch 14-16k. Then there are those with over 100k and needing lots of work (there are nice cars with over 100k though not needing work) which will bring even less.
During my search I saw several lower mileage (60-80k cars) that looked nice but basically were untouched (read - needed everything listed above) for around 12-13k. This ought to get interesting. Scott

I just finished this process. They are really cheap right now. I looked at an 87 turbo. 130K just repainted. no history on belts, interior fair, It was $6k w/o negotiating. I finally bought a 88 turbo. (Was looking for a track car. ) 130k too, belts at 127, full cage, big reds, recaro race seats, 6 pt harness, lowered. camber plates, chipped, 3" exhausts w/cat bypass, headers, lsd tranny w/cooler, and an extra set of Kinesis wheels, needs absolultely nothing. (but it was tracked) I paid under $6K. Now a nice low mileage, non tracked clean one would be more but, I don't think you'd have to pay much more than $10 if you look long enough. There's a lot of people needing money dumping toys right now. There was one more turbo and an s2 that I never looked at that were all under 10K too. I only looked for 10 days with in 1/2 hour from my house

Kelly = like 10-15K, for an average S.

my 89 's' with 250k miles was professionally appraised at over $35k.
![]() i wouldn't sell it for less than $80k though.

I'd take 20 for mine, no problem. To buy another one with, of course!

I have an 88 Turbo S , Silver Rose car with 44k miles on it. All maintence up to date, interior is mint, no previous accidents/body work, everything works, and for sale for the right price. Depends on how nice of an example you are looking for and if you want, don't hate, the real 88 Turbo S with proper paint and burgundy plaid interior.
I'd ask 20k, but realistically will probably take a little less than that.

That sounds like that would be about right on. That's some nice low mileage there.
