944 Turbo Injectors
Anyone have any experience with Lucas injectors as a stock replacement for 944 Turbo injectors? Here is the part number:
Lucas D1680 - 95160611000 How do these compare to the Bosch 0280150803 or the stock Porsche part 95160611000? Thanks, Scott |

89-944NA,
I searched before I posted and saw that comparison. Unfortunately, the Lucas injector tested is of a higher flow rate than the one I am asking about. The one I listed is supposed to be a direct replacement for the stock part. Scott |

Just make sure they are low impedance or you need resistors.

Why would you go that route? Stockers have a better spray pattern.

One thing to remember when you start changing to a similar part from another manufacturer, they DON'T do the R&D that Porsche did when they designed and built the car. Cheaper is NOT always better.
If you need injectors, there are plenty of members on this forum that will gladly sell you a set at a decent price...I recently bought 4 cleaned and flow tested (done by WOLF) stock injectors for my 951 for $50, because they weren't supplying enough fuel to the sellers modified engine.
