can someone advise me on what goes in that vacant hole near the reference sensors. it is held in place by a small bolt with the 10mm head...thanks

got it, it is the TDC reference.

The hole you refer to, if it is part of the S/R bracket, it was used for the factory diagnostics p/up and is no longer needed. If the hole is in the Bell Housing, that would be the TDC Inspection Hole.
