banjo fitting

The hose that connects to the intercooler charge pipe has a banjo fitting crimped to it and the other end is connected to the control line-manifold under the intake
The parts cat. does not show this hose as seperate, probably is part of the control line assy.
Mine is cracked, not leaking ....yet, but I would like to replace it.
Anyone have an idea of what could fix that?
I am looking for a banjo fitting w/hose barb, but have not found one yet.
Thought of the possibility of cutting the crimp off and clamp hose to it, but am not willing to take the chance of it not looking the way I think it should look once I do that.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Ken

If it's the part I'm thinking of.. you may want to try a Lindey racing Boost enhancer. It will replace your current part with the benefit of your turbo spooling quicker. They have a nice write up on how it works .

Got that. That is how I noticed the bad shape of the hose. You still need the banjo fitting or some type of fitting hooked up to the intercooler charge pipe.
I found out that the outer part of the crimp could be removed and a hose could be clamped onto the banjo fitting. Someone also suggested a plain old barb fitting screwed into the pipe, which is also a good idea, but then I would have to look around to find the correct thread barb fitting.....cutting the crimp will do for now.

Just cut the crimp off the banjo fitting, and use a standard hose clamp with a new hose.

I was under the impression it came with the fitting too.. how do you like the enhancer? would you recommend it?

I did cut the crimp and clamp a new hose on. No problems.
The enhancer is nice, if you do get one, follow the instructions and it will work as stated.

They ARE out there. (mostly used for fuel lines) Good news is that I'm about 90% sure that the stock one IS of the sort that you are looking for.
