How do I get this intercooler out???

I can't figure out how to get the plastic duct out of the nose to remove the intercooler. I have the two forward-facing plastic plugs removed from in the duct, as well as the screws attaching it to the intercooler, of course.

What am I missing?

You don't need to remove the duct. You can compress it vertically at either end to tuck it down a few inches from the top of the intercooler. Then with some manipulation the intercooler can be pulled back and sharply up to come out. Its not a "delicate" procedure.

As mentioned its a major PITA. Dont be afraid to crush the duct.. . Work out one side than the other, that's about the only advice i can give.

Your "enemies" are the two lower threaded pins. I posted about it in your "main" thread.

Thanks guys. I cringed trying to bend it enough to get it out, although I did see the factory relief slots on the sides that looked like they were there for exactly that reason. TThom, I did see that, thanks. I just didn't believe that was how it came out!
