944S2 Engine Swap/Looking for S-2 Engine

I am a proud owner of a very pretty 87 944S. I purchased it just recently and only after putting 200 miles on it, we had the cam tensioner come apart. You know the rest. Pistons and cylinders are fine. Head seems repairable although we need two new cams and several valves. I am having Ralph Meaney in Seattle working on it. After the head was sent off to the machine shop, Ralph discovered the dreaded golden metal flakes in the oil dump pan having come from my 44S. Bearings..engine still in car at this point. We do not know the condition of crank or much else yet. Booooo. I am new to this. And if anybody ever just jumped in to the 944 world, I did. Mike Lindsey suggested possibly swapping a S-2 into my car. Ralph is game. Anyone familiar with this swap? And, I guess I need an engine, loom and oil cooler set up. So, if you guys can help that would be great. PS :-) this is the first forum I have ever joined in my life and the first posting - what a newbie huh?
