Cat delete question

I recently had to remove my cat as the guts inside fell apart. Currently the O2 sensor is still plugged in. Should I disconnect it and run in open loop or leave it as is? Thanks

The o2 sensor is pre cat so changing the cat wont effect how the o2 sensor operates.

No problem, as Sketchers said, Oxygen sensor can be found under the hood near of the turbo. You can see it. He is wayyyyyyy far from the cat :)

Tberry1:

Only good as a short term solution (Cat removed).
Car was never designed to operate without O2 for close loop operation. Loss of low end pre-boost torque. Not good for street...
Recommend replacing with a high flow & quality Stainless Steel Bullet style cat. They run ~$100-250 Typical.
and Yes it does have an effect on the O2 Temps are different...
