I've been through this drill with my 951.
If I understand things correctly, the switches rarely fail. New they cost $300 - so rolling the dice with Lart might be a viable option if your switch is dead. It is unknown if Bosch will continue to make these switches. |

DME and KLR, they are due for failure
$500 with core, nice thing is the resistor upgrade runs the MB cooler & should last perhaps long time Neighbors black 951, her DME failed on the road, it did some hickups & choked then just DIED , and i picked her up & towed it to the shop. Next thing will be her TPS, both Bosch TPS crapped out on my M3 vert, one was hidden under the intake manifold and that was $400. All the coils crapped out just as BMW SB recall warned & they go LIMP MODE with ESL light. My other neighbor has issue with his recent purchase of X50 996TT, it don't feel like 500hp and it's auto, not DCT paddle ![]() Dare ya guys to test drive a new z51 Vette or top muscle car with $2500 Lifetime warranty. Double dog dare ya, I drove them all including Z28, Boss, GT sport, 1LE, ZL1, 392 all manuals of course. Still looking for Viper, stick Z07, GT350 & stick Chally Hellcat test drive. Dealers want auto Hellcats because they make $1500 commission vs $0 for manuals, notice the test drivers in mostly all 8spd paddle, its called BS marketing and Jay Leno agrees and got him a stick Hellcat because he isn't dumb and plans to drive it to the grave. USA is NOT playing around these days, BUT DON'T LISTEN TO THIS GUY JUST GO TEST DRIVE ALL OF THEM & SEE HOW YA FEEL AFTER {GRIN} Last edited by vanosman; 03-07-2015 at 12:20 AM.. |

Tested B7 Alpina also.
don't want paddle car, went with 392SRT Chally stick which is another big car that feels small, same deal with 928GT feels smaller than it is so watch the big nose on all those cars. feel free to respond with your 2 cents, keep the thread alive for NEW 951 TPS

Here is there response email with all cross reference numbers
Hello,
944T does not cross reference as a TPS sensor in our system. If you have further questions about what parts we carry, I recommend you review our website ******** Parts Catalog and our FAQ page ******** FAQ :: Finding Parts for Your Vehicle. Thank you, Susan ******** Customer Service apparently they are worthless as a rock Quote:

If you put this in the Classified section you will have more eyes on it, including most of the breakers out there.
