possible no start issue
so the other day left work got into the 89 turbo and turned key on, it cranked but didn't start, tried again and again (several times) finally started, drove home no issues. got home (about 15 mile trip) shut her off and tried starting again same thing but this time i heard this clicking sound coming from passenger side foot wall (sounded like what electric door locks make) again it finally started. next morning went out started no issues then or since? any thoughts on what might be going on? thanks

I've seen temperature variations effect the DME relay in different ways. Cold days hard or no start- hot days, the same. That's why I always keep a spare in each car. Also, is your DME getting wet? Leak in the battery box? Hard start when wet outside?

Funny I just started having this same issue with mine. It was down for a few months doing clutch and a few other things and when it was finished it started similar behavior. I've heard everything from the battery to charging system but things have eliminated each of these from being the cause. I'll check my DME relay...maybe it's crapping out!!!
