speedometer sensor

I have a 1995 Porsche 993 Cabriolet. My speedometer is not working correctly and I think it is probably the pickup sensor, sometimes called the impulse sensor. The odometer and the tripometer work fine but the speedometer will only read up to 20 mph. Does anyone know where the sensor is located and what it takes to either fix it or replace it? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hopefully this helps somewhat. The link below mentions that the speedometer signal comes from the computer that is sensing the ABS wheel sensors. There does not seem to be any part number for an individual speedometer sensor. Good luck.
